There are so many layers in learning to let things go. I’m continually always learning but it really does provide the mental clarity for things that can weigh heavily on one’s mind especially if it has to do with feeling guilty or bad about something out of your control. I just reserved this book via Libby. Looking forward to reading it!
I just read Sandwich over the course of a few days with my ten-week-old son mostly asleep on or next to me, and WHEW that was an experience! What a wonderful book. Thank you both.
Molly—I take my hat off to you! You are a brilliant interviewer! And my favourite part was where you included life intervening into your interview in the form of Gilbert eating your carpet! Comedy gold! But I seriously hope it was nothing serious. 😉😀
my own similar phrase is "let's keep an eye on it". sort of a permission to confirm its a real thing and not totally ignore it, but not take it TOO seriously. not get caught up and obsess and solve it before i even know its level of importance.
most of the time i 'keep an eye' on something it sort of dissolves away on its own. very freeing.

I would subscribe to a newsletter of nothing but you & Catherine talking every week!
